West Fork Walker River Check Dams, Yerington, NV As a result of the earlier work, the Walker Irrigation District is considering modification of existing concrete check dams with rock structures to enhance irrigation function and improve fish passage and habitat. The following photo was taken just below the previous W-Weir site and is proposed for modification.
